Senses of Greece – Extra Virgin Olive oil

George had a vision, to create quality products, handpicked with love from his hometown near Kalamata, Greece. Our task was to recreate an atmosphere lost in time and bring to life a nostalgic part of Greece. The first part of the trip was to create the extra virgin olive oil product identity.

Blending between neoclassical and vintage elements with contemporary layout and font combinations we try to create a warm identity, that feels comfortable to live in any part and era of greek history of the last century.
This way the product can bring a different sense depending on your experience and memories. Another strong asset is the colour selection, bright/sunburned yellow, marine blue and earth tones for the overall identity encapsulates every part of greek countryside, that surely will bring a mideteranean feeling.

We’ve Alpha to Omega, is a company based in Kalamata, Greece. Their vision is to create products with attention to detail in every step of their production. With cutting edge facilities and equipment, they uses the technology to make the olive oil perfect from Alpha to Omega.” Our task was to create a minimalistic and clean product identity, with starting point the Early Harvest & Organic extra virgin olive oil.

Lappa Olive – Premium & Organic Extra virgin olive oil

The Briefing: We’ve been asked from Lappa Avocado to develop the product identity for their new series of olive oil products, Lappa Olive. Lappa is a place with rich history from ancient times. The task was to create a chic and simple identity which withstands the time and will stay “classic”.

The Design: We choose to implement the story of five virgins (A Roman story) to the concept and try to blend it with the rich vegetation and the water springs of the area.
To transfer the concept into the logo, we represent each virgin with a cavity at the end of the tree’s roots (water streams). The symbol shows the origin of the highest quality olive oil. On the packaging we used natural de-saturated colours, with simple typography, in order to create the feeling of the long history. Last we made the cap from olive wood to achieve a more natural look.

Galactic Pizza

A local pizza restaurant, 80’s & 90’s inspiration, bold colours.

A galactic pizza symbol by combining a pizza with a galaxy, with some pepperoni for the stars. Bold & distressed typography gives a modern old-school feel.

Mr Pin Salsa Fresca

The Briefing: ” Pin family company commissioned us to create an identity for the traditional “Salsa Fresca” products. Handmade Italian sauces for pasta & pizza, made with the most delicious & fresh ingredients. They wanted to blend the heritage of the family on the Italian products with the new ideas and of course the love for pasta. ”

The Design: To pay tribute to the heritage, we create an iconic avatar, Mr Pin which represents the love of the family on the traditional products and for pasta. We wanted to show the pleasure on his eyes when eating pasta. For the identity we mix modern shapes and layout, with pastel colours inspired from the Italian country side. The overall goal was to keep it simple with as little ingredients as possible.

NECTAR / The finest of Greek land

The Briefing: ” We want people to see and feel Greece through Nectar. We have a web store based in London which will offer fresh Greek, carefully selected products directly from Greek producers.”

The Design: Simplicity and purity are the key elements on which Nectar’s identity was build. The logo is composed by the sun and the sea, two of the best known goods of Greece. Simple forms with clean typhography and large white surfaces, which leave room in the viewer to breathe, dominating in both the corporate identity and website. Business cards are one of the most powerful elements of corporate identity of Nectar, clean and white with printing techniques, which aim to make the best first impression. The minimalist aesthetic dominates the website design too. The structure of an online store by itself is very complex, so I tried to remove everything is not necessary for the cosumer, creating space to highlight the products and avoid the visitor get lost in a huge maze of informations and graphics.
